Out with the old and in with the new! The great thing about moving is that you can throw away the old furniture you have been meaning to for years and get new stuff! Some people like more classical designs and kudos for them. But if you’re moving to a new home, why not have some fun with it? Check out these unique bookshelves that are guaranteed to make you stand out.
1. Can’t reach the top of the bookshelf? No problem! Just pull out the bottom and use the shelves as stairs to get to your beloved books near the ceiling.
2. Okay, is this necessarily a logical bookcase? No. But it’s so freaking cool!!! Why wouldn’t you want it? Think of it as your own personal reading hamster wheel. Just put it in an empty room as start rolling around as you re-read Harry Potter.
3. Whoever said bookcases had to be square or rectangular are just plain wrong. Check out these cool shapes for you to stash your favorite literature in. Not only is it useful, but it’s aesthetically pleasing as well.
4.Now that…is cool. While I’m not sure how you would take out a book without toppling that whole thing, you gotta admit it the book pile looks epic. Make it into a game of jenga on a rainy day if you are bored.
5. To infinity…and beyond!!! Not only does this bookcase took awesome, but can you imagine the amount of books you can fit in it? Hundred considering it’s double sided! I personally also find it symbolic about the infinite amount of stories to be told in this world…but that’s just me.
6. As a Doctor Who fan, I can’t pass the opportunity to point out this Tardis bookcase! “It’s bigger on the inside!” (Not really, but it’s still pretty epic.)
7. Now this…this is pretty awesome. It’s space saving and aesthetically pleasing as well. While you do have to climb a ladder to get to your books, the overall way it looks is just so cool! And you can never get enough exercise anyway.
8. Minimalist, but incredibly stylish. I mean, how many people do you know with tree shaped bookshelves? Not many, I’ll bet. It’s also cool looking because the books aren’t straight. They lean over to fit properly, but don’t topple over. Psh, physics.
9. There is nothing cozier than a reading nook and now you have one inside your book case. Can you say awesome? Because I can. I want one. I’d never leave…
