All Moving Companies are Similar
Service quality, pricing, timing, availability, and experience vary wildly between different moving services. Weekends are the Only Good Moving Time
Many people believe that Friday is the best day to move, as they can unpack over the weekend. Because most people think this, however, traffic is way worse on Fridays, and many moving companies are booked. We recommend a weekday move – ideally scheduled as far in advance as possible.
All Moving Boxes and Tape are the Same
Tape and boxes differ wildly. Duct tape and masking tape can’t hold a candle to packing tape, which is designed to work ideally with cardboard, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue on your furniture. Packing tape is easily held together, is flexible, and can stay together under great pressure. This is similar to moving boxes – they can hold together under a ton of weight, and are far superior to regular cardboard boxes for the packing and moving process.

Some people think that items ALWAYS break or go missing during a move. This is surely a low bar! Professional moving companies with a well implemented moving process won’t make this an issue – even though accidents can sometimes happen, that’s what moving insurance is for!
